LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team finished the Bryan NationalCollegiate Championship in 11th place after shooting a team total 330 inthe last round of the tournament.
Jenny Dugan and Towa Okiyama tied for 23rd place. They both shot8-over-par 80s on the final day of the championship, giving them threeround totals of 238.
Kristen Pepe and Chanda Day tied with two other golfers for 51st place.Day shot a 90 in the last round, while Pepe shot a 10-over-par 82. JennyThrogmorton shot an 88 in the third round to give her a total of 256 and57th place.
The University of Washington held onto the first place position, andLindsay Smith of Furman won the tournament with a three-round-total of 221.
The Lady Kats will travel to New Orleans to play two rounds in the GreenWave Classic on Monday.
