Dear Campers
The University of Kentucky Men’s Golf program continues to achieve tremendous success on the course, and 2005 SEC Coach of the Year Brian Craig and his staff are eager to share the secrets of their success with you! For 2013, UK is offering 3 different styles of camps for you to choose from.
The Wildcat Elite Academy is a unique learning experience for boys and girls ages 12 – 18. This camp will focus on the finer skills required to play golf at the highest level, and is open to anyone who is interested in playing tournament golf. This is a DAY CAMP only.
The Wildcat Elite Academy Plus is an expanded version of the Wildcat Elite Academy. The Elite Academy Plus is identical to the Elite Academy, but we have added an extra half day of instruction and also added an 18-hole Camp Championship.
The Wildcat Golf Academy is our overnight residence camp, and it truly has something for everybody. A detailed curriculum of practice, play and fun will be incorporated in the camp to maximize learning and enjoyment. Golf activities typically last 9-10 hours per day, combined with a few seminars and other extra curricular activities. This camp offers overnight and day camp tuition rates.
All three camps will be hosted at the spectacular University Club of Kentucky, and the staff will consist of UK Golf Coaches, other collegiate coaches, and UK Golf team members.
Our #1 goal is to create a learning environment where the student can improve and have a great time in the process. We sincerely hope you decide to attend one of our camps and take part in the excitement that is UK Golf!
Wildcat Elite Academy
June 10-11 (Day Camp Only) – $350
ELITE ACADEMY DISCOUNT – If at least 3 members of your high school team attend together the individual price will be reduced to $325.
The Wildcat Elite Academy is very different from any other collegiate camp you will find. Our goal is to teach you the finer skills and techniques required to play your best. For two days, UK’s Coaches will work with your natural ability and cover every fundamental necessary to help you maximize your potential. We will also conduct three classroom seminars on topics such as course management, proper practice techniques and how to prepare for competition. The camp will end with a Q&A to answer any questions you or your parents may have about junior golf and playing competitive golf after high school. This camp is two full days of hands on instruction on the lesson tee, short game areas and in the classroom at the beautiful University Club of Kentucky and is designed to help young players get game ready for their summer of competitive golf!
ELIGIBILITY
Boys & girls ages 12-18 who have a desire to play tournament golf. Camp is limited to the first 18 paid entrants of the Wildcat Elite Academy.
CAMP PACKAGE
Each camper will receive a UK T-shirt, a dozen Nike golf balls, and other golf and UK related items.
WHAT TO BRING
Golf clubs, spikeless golf shoes, proper golf attire (T-shirts and denim are not allowed at the course).

Wildcat Elite Academy Plus
June 6-8 (Day Camp Only) – $450 per camper
ELITE ACADEMY PLUS DISCOUNT – If at least 3 members of your high school team attend together the individual price will be reduced to $425.
The Elite Academy Plus is identical to the normal Elite Academy but also offers a third full day that includes an extra half day of instruction followed by an 18 hole camp championship. The camp will end with a Q&A session to answer any questions you or your parents may have about junior golf and playing competitive golf after high school. This camp is three full days of hands on instruction on the lesson tee, short game areas and in the classroom with one tournament round of golf at the beautiful University Club of Kentucky. Get game ready for your summer of competitive golf!

Wildcat Golf Academy

July 9-12 (Day Camper) – $625

The Wildcat Golf Academy is our overnight residence camp, and it truly has something for everybody. Join UK’s Coaches and student-athletes for qualify golf instruction and intramural activities which typically last 9-10 hours per day. We will also have several seminars and other extra-curricular activities such as Gattitown, UK Basketball & Football tours, swimming, etc. throughout the week. All campers stay in air conditioned dorms on UK’s campus and are closely supervised by the golf camp staff. Day camper tuition rates are also available. You will not find a better overnight collegiate camp at a great price anywhere around! NOTE: For campers to stay overnight at any UK Athletics Camp, the camper must be at least 12 years of age at the start of the camp.

Any boy or girl ages 10-18. Camp is limited to the first 40 paid entrants of the Wildcat Golf Academy.

Each camper will receive a UK T-shirt, a dozen Nike golf balls, and other golf and UK related items.
SUPERVISION�
Campers will be closely supervised at all times during the week. This includes the Wildcat Golf Academy staff staying in the dormitory with the campers. Please note that those individuals arriving before the scheduled registration time will not be supervised, unless prior arrangments are made with the camp staff.
LODGING
All campers will be housed at an air conditioned University of Kentucky dormitory. If you have a roommate preference, be sure to write the name on your enrollment application, and make sure that individual does the same. Roommate requests will be satisfied prior to camp check-in.
WHAT TO BRING
Golf clubs, spikeless golf shoes, proper golf attire (T-shirts and denim are not allowed at the course), bathroom articles, swimsuit, casual clothes, twin sheets, pillow, and spending money ($50 is plenty)

Registration
Please include a $200.00 deposit for the Wildcat Golf Academy and a $100 deposit for the Wildcat Elite Academy or the Wildcat Elite Academy Plus. The remainder of the balance for camps is due two weeks prior to the start of camp. Any applications received after that point must include full payment. Letters of acceptance will be mailed upon receiving the application. A final letter with all of the camp specifics will be mailed prior to the start of each camp. Please Note: There will be a $20.00 administrative fee for early withdrawal from the camp. Any withdrawal after one week prior to the start of camp will result in forfeit of full deposit.
