LEXINGTON, Ky. — With heavy rains in the Central Kentucky area, the series opener with Kentucky and No. 1 Vanderbilt has been postponed, with the two teams to play a doubleheader on Saturday. Game one of the series will start at 2 p.m. ET, with the second game set for a 7 p.m. ET start at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

Kentucky (28-19, 10-14 Southeastern Conference) will host the blistering-hot Commodores (42-6, 21-2 SEC) in a three-game series, now starting on Saturday with the twinbill. It will mark UK’s fourth doubleheader of the season, with UK posting a 3-3 record in doubleheaders in 2013.

The second game of the doubleheader on Saturday will be televised live by CSS and available on ESPN3.com with Matt Stewart and Rusty Ensor on the call. Both games will be broadcast live on the UK IMG Radio Network, with the Voice of UK Baseball, Neil Price, calling the action. Fans can hear the games live on WLAP 630-AM, on WKJK 1080-AM and online at UKathletics.com.
