LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team was selected for three national television appearances against Georgia, Vanderbilt and Florida, it was announced by the Southeastern Conference office on Wednesday.
The first of the three contests will be against the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday, Sept. 29. In order to accommodate the live telecast on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS), the original gametime of UK vs. UGA will be shifted from a scheduled 3:30 p.m. ET start, to a 6:00 p.m. ET start. The game will be shown live from the UK Soccer Complex in Lexington.
The final two live telecasts of the 2013 season will both be live on FOX Sports against Vanderbilt and Florida. UK and Vanderbilt will tangle in Nashville on Sunday, Oct. 6, and kickoff will remain as scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET.
Kentucky will face Florida in the Wildcats final scheduled TV appearance on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. ET. In order to accommodate the live telecast, gametime has shifted from 7:00 p.m. ET, to 6:30 p.m. ET
In addition to the games being shown live on CSS and Fox Sports, all games will also be available live online at ESPN3.com, and the WatchESPN app on any mobile or tablet device.
ESPNU, which is available in more than 75 million households, will televise four regular season matches in addition to the SEC Tournament championship match.
The SEC Women’s Soccer Tournament will begin on Nov. 4 in Orange Beach, Ala., and the championship will be televised live on ESPNU Nov. 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
