LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky football team just completed the toughest four-game stretch in school history, having to face four consecutive top-20 ranked opponents for the first time ever. But not only was UK’s last four games the hardest it has faced in school history, some national rankings consider UK’s first-half schedule one of the toughest in the nation this season.

According to the Jeff Sagarin computer ratings published in USA Today and the Jeff Anderson and Chris Hester College Football Computer Rankings, which both are considered in the BCS national rankings, Kentucky has played the third-toughest schedule in the nation so far this season. The difficult schedule comes in large part because of UK’s last four games, which were played against No. 7 Louisville, No. 20 Florida, No. 13 South Carolina and No. 1 Alabama.
