LEXINGTON, Ky. – After unquestionably the Wildcats biggest win of the season last Friday night over No. 24 South Carolina, UK continues its three-match homestand on Friday and Sunday with matches against the Ole Miss Rebels and nationally-ranked Florida at the Bell Soccer Complex in Lexington.

Friday night’s match with Ole Miss will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be shown live on the SEC Network+ with Neil Price and JD Stephenson on the call. Sunday afternoon will mark UK’s third televised game of the season, as the Wildcats and Gators will battle on the SEC Network at 4 p.m. ET with Glenn Davis and Richard Broad on the call for ESPN.

The Wildcats recorded a 1-0 win over the Gamecocks on Friday, boosting the UK RPI from 54 entering the match on Friday to No. 41 in this week’s NCAA RPI release on Monday morning.

With Arin Gilliland dropping to the back, the Wildcats now boast one of the most explosive wideback combos in the nation as she joins Cara Ledman. Both converted forwards, Ledman and

Gilliland this season have combined for 78 shots, 40 shots on goal, seven goals, 12 assists, 26 points and a game-winning goal. Ledman will continue to take left-sided corner kicks in the tactical switch.

Kentucky this season is 5-2-0 in night matches (matches that start at 7 p.m. ET or later). The Wildcats have picked up wins over arch rival Louisville, South Carolina, Auburn and Mississippi State all in night matches. Ole Miss enters the weekend at 7-3-4 overall on the season, and tied with Kentucky on the SEC table with nine points this conference season. The Rebels are 2-1-3 in the SEC with a win against Mississippi State, and results against Arkansas, Georgia and Auburn. The Rebels have non-conference wins against Iowa State, LaLa, Minnesota and a draw against Memphis. Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Matt Mott, OM is led in points by Addie Forbus, who has 15 points this season via six goals and three assists. Kelly McCormick has played every minute in the net for the Rebels this season, and has a GAA of 1.00 while making 50 saves and allowing 15 goals in 15 matches this season.

Under the direction of 20th-year head coach Becky Burleigh, the Gators are in full stride, as they currently sit atop the SEC table with 18 point, and the only undefeated team left in the league. The Gators enter the weekend 11-2-0 overall, and are 6-0-0 in SEC action, while sitting at No. 3 in the latest release of the NCAA RPI. UF has only lost this season to Oklahoma and nationally-ranked Stanford, both by one-goal margins. Florida is led offensively by 2013 SEC Player of the Year, Savannah Jordan, who has an SEC-leading 25 points this season, and 11 goals, as a clinical finisher. Taylor Burke is expected to get the start in the net for UF, who has a GAA of 0.690 and has allowed a microscopic eight goals this season.
