Team Records and Series Notes

  • Kentucky improves to 8-1, while Louisville falls to 8-1.
  • Kentucky improves to 720-487 (61.2) all-time in 41 seasons of varsity women’s basketball and 187-89 (73.9) in the month of December.
  • Matthew Mitchell is in his eighth season as the head coach of the Wildcats. He already ranks first on UK’s all-time wins list with 178 and winning percentage of .716.
