Kentucky improves to 16-4, 5-2 SEC, while Missouri falls to 11-9, 1-6 SEC.
Kentucky moves to 728-490 (66.1) all-time in 41 seasons of varsity women’s basketball and 193-160 (54.7) in the month of January.
Matthew Mitchell, UK’s all-time winningest coach, moves to 216-104 overall, 186-75 at UK.
- Mitchell is now 76-39 in SEC play and 3-0 vs. Missouri.
This was the fifth meeting between the programs since UK became a varsity sport in 1974-75.
- UK leads the all-time series 4-1 and has won all three meetings since Mizzou joined the SEC in 2012-13.
- Kentucky has won the last three overall in the series, and is 2-0 at Mizzou Arena.
Today’s attendance was 2,471.

UK started with the lineup of Linnae Harper, Makayla Epps, Bria Goss, Alysa Rice and Jelléah Sidney for the first time this season.

UK forced Missouri into 15 turnovers and scored 13 points off those turnovers.
- UK had seven steals, the most of any SEC half this season.
Missouri closed the half on a 6-2 run after Kentucky had a 41-34 lead.
Kentucky led for the final 14:35 of the half.
UK is now 8-1 when leading at halftime this season, including 3-1 in SEC play.

UK began the second half with its original starting five of Makayla Epps, Jelléah Sidney, Bria Goss, Alyssa Rice and Alexis Jennings.
Trailing by two, 50-48, with 13:32 to go, Kentucky used an 11-0 run to reclaim its lead and the Cats would never trail again.
Kentucky outscored Missouri 40-29 in the second half.
Kentucky shot 14-of-31 in the second half for 45.2 percent, while holding Missouri to 20.7 percent (6-of-29).
Jen O’Neill scored 15 of her 19 points in the second half.
Kentucky shot 10-of-14 (71.4 percent) from the free-throw line in the second half.

UK trailed in the second half at 50-48, marking the sixth time this season that Kentucky has come back from a second half deficit to win a game.
The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in the game.
Kentucky forced 22 turnovers, scoring 23 points off those turnovers.

Senior Jen O’Neill came off the bench to lead UK with 19 points, her second straight game with 19 points.

- Tied Keyla Snowden (2010-12) at No. 3 on UK’s all-time 3-pointers made list with 176.

Sophomore Makayla Epps had 18 points and a career-high tying 10 points for her second career double-double.
- Attempted a career-high 18 field goals.
- Also had 10 rebounds vs. Oklahoma on Nov. 27.
- Grabbed a season-high tying seven defensive rebounds.
Senior Bria Goss had a season-high tying 16 points, the most points since returning from her thumb injury on Jan. 15.
- Went 3-of-3 from the free-throw line and has now made 14 in a row.
Sophomore Linnae Harper charted her fifth season and career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
- Second straight double-double.
- First player to record back-to-back double-doubles since DeNesha Stallworth last season vs. Texas A&M (Feb. 23, 2014) and Mississippi State (Feb. 27, 2014).
Freshman Alexis Jennings came off the bench for 10 points and six rebounds.
- 10th double-digit scoring game, including second straight.
- Hit two 3-pointers and now has seven on the season.
