Curry, Lilley and Skinner Voted First Team Academic All-America

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Three Kentucky Volleyball players, Gabby Curry, Madison Lilley and Avery Skinner, were named College Sports Information Director’s of American (CoSIDA) Academic All-Americans on Tuesday, with all three voted to the first team.
 
It is the first time in Kentucky history it has had three players named to the first team, and Kentucky was also the only program in the nation with more than one player represented on the first team.
 
Gabby Curry
Libero, Sr., Buford, Ga.

  • Graduated in May with her MBA
  • SEC Libero of the Year
  • AVCA All-America

 
Madison Lilley
Setter, Sr., Overland Park, Kansas

  • Graduated in May with degree in Integrated Strategic Communications
  • AVCA National Player of the Year
  • NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player

 
Avery Skinner
Outside Hitter, Sr., Katy Texas

  • Graduated in May from Kentucky and is now attending graduate school at Baylor
  • AVCA First Team All-America
  • NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team
