UK Dance Team Tryout Video Bypass

The University of Kentucky Dance Team is now accepting videos from current HS seniors or current college students to receive a Video Bypass for our upcoming 2021-22 UKDT tryouts.  If you receive a VBP, you will be invited to our in person or virtual tryouts in May. This is one of the 2 ways you can be invited to our tryouts.

You will submit a video that is up to 2 min. in length that must include a Hip Hop or Pom motion routine (you do not have to use poms, and you can mix the styles into one routine, and there is no time limit) You can also include in your video, any other tricks, tumbling and or skills you would like us to see. 

(Example of things you can include in your video: toe touch, head springs, rubber band, flippies, side aerials, front aerials, hand springs, tucks, pirouettes, etc.)

At the beginning of your video, please say your name and where you are from. This will not be included in your 2 min time limit.

Please make sure your video is uploaded to YouTube and is (UNLISTED).  You will attach the video link within the registration.
