Season Ticket Renewals, New Sales Begin for 2020 Season
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Season tickets for the 2020 Kentucky baseball campaign are on sale now both to fans renewing their 2019 season tickets and those buying new season tickets. The 2020 home schedule at Kentucky Proud Park features 36 games beginning on February 18.
The exciting home slate includes Southeastern Conference three-game series vs. Alabama, Florida, LSU, Missouri and South Carolina, as well as the annual game in Lexington vs. Louisville. The complete 2020 schedule will be released soon.
Fans renewing season tickets from last year can visit UKathletics.com/renew. Renewing through My UK Account provides returning season ticket holders the option of a two-month payment plan option. The deadline to renew season tickets is October 29. Fans are also able to request upgrades to their season tickets by renewing and then requesting their seating preferences through their online invoice.
Fans purchasing new season tickets in Kentucky Proud Park can do so by visiting UKBaseballTix.com. Season tickets start at just $64 for terrace/berm seating. Dugout chairback and terrace/berm general admission areas will be available for purchase as new season tickets. Reserved season tickets were sold out last season with new ticket holders having the ability to request reserved seating preferences at the time of purchase, if it becomes available after the renewal process. Each general admission area is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Dugout Chairback general admission seating costs $106 and consists of chairback seats located behind the first and third base dugouts in sections 101, 102, 110, and 111. Seating in the dugout chairback area is on a first-come, first-serve basis so fans with dugout chairback tickets can pick their seating location preference on game day. The Terrace/Berm general admission seating costs $64 and is located down the right and left field lines beyond the dugouts. The terraces are multi-tiered options with staircases and constructed with decorative stone brick pavers. The grass berms are in the left and right field corners where fans are welcome to bring in their blankets or towels to enjoy the game.
The Cats are entering the fourth season under head coach Nick Mingione and have won 103 games during his three-year tenure. The program has seen 24 players selected in the past two Major League Baseball drafts, including a school-record 13 in 2018, and a pair of first-round selections in Evan White (2017) and Zack Thompson (2019). The program also advanced to the Super Regional for the first time in school history in 2017 and opened $49 million Kentucky Proud Park last season.
