The Penguins come into their matchup with the Wildcats as losers of two-straight after dropping games against St. Bonaventure, 3-1, and Marshall, 3-0, on Friday night.
Looking forward, UK will host Northern Kentucky on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at The Bell.
Still Undefeated
Kentucky enters its fourth game of the season with one win and two draws. Most importantly, the Wildcats haven’t lost yet this season. UK had 14 losses a season ago, but with a new crop of young players, as well as several key returners, Kentucky has seemingly made good improvements, especially in attack.
Successful in Attack
Last season, the Wildcats only scored three goals or more twice. This season, UK has already scored at least three goals in two of its three games in a 3-3 tie with Bowling Green and a 4-2 win over George Mason.
