Team Records and Series Notes

• With the win, Kentucky is 5-6 on the year. Charlotte drops to 2-9. 
o Kentucky has five wins in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2010-11.  
• Kentucky won the first meeting between the two schools. 
• The Wildcats have a 148-126-4 all-time record at Commonwealth Stadium, including a 12-10 mark under Coach Mark Stoops. 
• Kentucky will return to action Saturday, hosting Louisville in the regular-season finale at Noon ET at The New Commonwealth Stadium. The game will be televised live on the SEC Network and will be broadcast live on the UK Sports Radio Network. 

Team Notes

• Kentucky has won 27 consecutive games when staked to a third-quarter lead, the longest streak in the Southeastern Conference. UK is 10-0 in the Coach Mark Stoops era when holding a lead entering the fourth quarter. 
• UK scored a season-high 58 points, its most since scoring 59 points vs. UT Martin in 2015. 
o It marked the most points for UK against an FBS team since 2010 vs. Western Kentucky (63 points). 
• A 48-point win was the largest for UK since a 77-17 win over UTEP in 2002. 
• UK had a pair of players with 100+ yards rushing for the first time since Derrick Locke and Randall Cobb vs. Vanderbilt in 2010. 
o UK had two different players rush for at least two TDs for the first time since 2014 vs. UT Martin.
o It marked just the second time UK has had two players with at least 140 rushing yards in a single game, joining Cobb and Locke vs. Vanderbilt in 2010. 
• After a 5-for-5 outing in the red zone in the win, UK is 32-for-38 in red zone in 2015. 
• UK’s running back quartet of Jojo Kemp, Mikel Horton, Sihiem King and Boom Williams have combined for 1,760 yards on 287 carries, an average of 6.1 yards per carry. 
• UK had six rushing TDs for the first time since rushing for six TDs vs. UT Martin. 
• For the first time in 2015, UK had three scoring drives with at least 10 plays. 
• For the ninth time this season Kentucky held an opponent to seven points or less scored in a half.
• UK had a defensive touchdown for the first time since a 77 yard fumble return from Cory Johnson vs. Tennessee earlier in the year. 
o UK is 4-3 in the Coach Mark Stoops era when scoring defensively. 
• For the first time since 2010, UK has held three consecutive opponents to under 166 yards passing. 
• UK is 2-3 in 2015 when scoring first and 8-7 in the Coach Mark Stoops era. 
• UK has a 4-1 record in 2015 when staked to a first-quarter lead and a 9-2 record in the Stoops era. 
• UK is 4-0 in 2015 and 10-0 in the Coach Mark Stoops era when holding a halftime lead. 
• Kentucky’s captains were Farrington Huguenin, Josh Forrest, Patrick Towles and Jordan Swindle for the third consecutive game. 
• The Wildcats finished with 544 yards of total offense, a season best. UK eclipsed 500 yards of offense for the first time since collecting 504 yards vs. Mississippi State in 2014.  
• UK held Charlotte to 87 yards passing, the fewest passing yards allowed by a UK defense since holding Vanderbilt to 85 yards last season. 
• UK rushed for 415 yards, the fourth-most in UK history. 
o It marked the most since UK had 441 yards vs. Virginia Tech in 1974. 
• UK is 3-0 in its blue uniform/white pants combination, and 5-1 in the Coach Mark Stoops era. 
• UK scored at least 10 points in each quarter, a first for the Wildcats since facing UTEP in 2002. 

Player Notes

• Junior RB Jojo Kemp rushed 11 times for a career-best 165 yards and a career-high tying three TDs. 
o Kemp’s 165 rushing yards are the most in a single game since Randall Cobb had 170 yards vs. Vanderbilt in 2010. 
o Kemp has six rushing TDs on the year and the 132 in his career. 
• It was Kemp’s second career game with multiple rushing TDs, equaling his three TD game vs. South Carolina in 2014.
• Kemp is the second UK player with two rushing TDs in a game in 2015, joining Williams vs. Auburn. 
o Kemp has 1,346 career rushing yards, moving into 22nd in UK history. 
o Kemp has 541 rushing yards in 2015.
• Sophomore RB Boom Williams carried it 16 times for a career-best 140 yards and a career-high tying two TDs. 
o Williams has five rushing TDs in 2015 and 10 in his career. 
• It was the second game with two rushing TDs in 2015 and the third of his career. 
o Williams has 1,304 career rushing yards, moving into 25th in UK history and just nine yards shy of Randall Cobb (2008-10). 
• Williams has the sixth most rushing yards through his first two seasons in UK history. 
o Williams has a team-leading 818 rushing yards in 2015. 
o Williams owns 236 career receiving yards.
• Senior DE Farrington Huguenin had six tackles, 1.5 sacks and three tackles for a loss. 
o Huguenin has 3.5 tackles for a loss in 2015 and 4.5 in his career. 
o Huguenin had his second QB hurry of the year and the sixth of his career.
• Senior LB Josh Forrest had a team-leading eight stops.  
o Forrest has six tackles for a loss in 2015 and 15.5 in his career. 
o Forrest has 85 tackles in 2015 and 224 in his career. 
• Freshman QB Drew Barker made his first career start. 
o Barker was 16-for-29 for 129 yards. 
• Sophomore NT Matt Elam had his first career tackle for a loss. 
• Senior LB Khalid Henderson broke up his first two passes of the year and has six in his career. 
o Henderson recorded his third career sack and second of the year. 
• Sophomore RB Mikel Horton had four carries for 20 yards. 
o Horton has 274 yards rushing in 2015 and 580 in his career. 
• Sophomore WR Garrett Johnson had a team-leading five catches for 33 yards. 
o Johnson has 924 receiving yards in his career.
• Sophomore WR Jeff Badet caught four passes for 39 yards. 
o Badet has 430 receiving yards in 2015 and 715 in his career. 
• Sophomore WR Blake Bone caught two passes for 24 yards. 
• Junior LB/DE Jason Hatcher charted his second sack of the year and has 5.5 in his career. 
• Freshman RB Sihiem King rushed for his first career TD, a 62 yard scamper in the fourth quarter. 
o King set new career highs in attempts (five) and yards (91). 
• Senior LB Ryan Flannigan had seven tackles.  
o Flannigan recorded his first tackles for a loss in 2015 and has two in his career. 
• Senior DT Cory Johnson finished with six tackles. 
o Johnson recorded his first career interception. 
o Johnson has six tackles for a loss in 2015 and 10 in his career. 
• Freshman CB Chris Westry broke up his eighth pass of the year. 
• Junior WR Ryan Timmons has 970 career receiving yards. 
• Senior Landon Foster punted three times for a 38-yard average, including two downed inside the 20. 
o Foster has punted 248 times in his career, good for a 41.8 average, with 68 downed inside the 20-yard line. 
• Freshman Miles Butler made his first career field goals, a 21-yard strike in the first quarter, 46 yarder in the second quarter and a 32-yard attempt in the third frame. 
o Butler is 8-for-9 in 2015 in PAT attempts. 
• Freshman S Darius West had a career-high seven tackles. 
• Freshman LB Josh Allen shared his first career sack and had two tackles for a loss, the first of his career. 
o Allen had his first career QB hurry. 
• Senior WR Joey Herrick had a career-high five tackles. 
• Freshman DE/LB Denzil Ware recovered his first career fumble. 
• Freshman S Mike Edwards intercepted his first career pass and returned it 20 yards for a TD. 
o It marked UK’s first interception returned for a TD since Fred Tiller at Louisville in 2014. 
o Edwards had his second career tackle for a loss. 
• Seniors Landon Foster and Farrington Huguenin played in their team-leading 47th career games. 
• Junior C Jon Toth started his team-leading 34th consecutive game.
