Wildcats Men’s Tennis Adds Enzo Wallart for 2016

LEXINGTON, Ky. – With the national signing period underway, the Kentucky men’s tennis team is excited to announce the signing of Enzo Wallart to a national letter of intent to join the Wildcats in the near future.
“I’m really excited about our newest signee,” said fourth year head coach Cedric Kauffmann. “We are really bringing the talent back to where I think it should be for us to be successful and chase a championship. Enzo is going to be willing to work hard and help the team out. We really enjoyed recruiting Him. He comes from great families and were a pleasure to work with.”

Wallart joins the Wildcats looking to impact the team from the start. He has competed in ITF juniors events along with professional events, recording his first ATP point in 2014. Wallart recently made the doubles semifinal in the professional futures circuit.
Kauffmann on Wallart: “Enzo is a great kid who comes from a great family. He is a hard worker who does it all with a smile. Enzo has the potential to be a special player for us and at the next level. He knows it will be hard, but he loves the challenge. He cares about the team results which I love about him also. We can’t wait to have him on campus.”
The men’s tennis team gets into action tomorrow, traveling to Naples, Florida for the Florida Gulf Coast Invite. The Cats kick off the dual season on Jan. 15 with a double-header featuring Northern Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky beginning at 1 p.m.
