Kentucky remained stationary at No. 5 in the latest USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches’ Poll despite previous No. 4 North Carolina losing last week.
The Cats remained behind first-place Kansas, Michigan State, Texas and new No. 4 Villanova. The Villanova Wildcats leaped over the Cats from sixth place.
Kansas received 28 of the 31 first-place votes. Syracuse was the biggest mover of the week after beating UNC, jumping all the way from No. 24 to No. 9.
