No significant movement in the rankings this week. The men stayed put at No. 2 in both major polls this week and the women remained at No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25.
The men picked up four first-place votes in the AP and one first-place vote in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. Full rankings are below.
While you’re at it, take a look at this week’s Bracketology by Joe Lunardi. To little surprise, UK is listed as the No. 1 seed in the East Region against the play-in winner.
The catch this week, however, is that Lunardi has UK’s potential second-round matchup against the winner of Louisville-Clemson. Could you imagine the Dream Game in the Big Dance?
On the women’s side, Charlie Creme has UK Hoops as a No. 4 seed in his bracketology. If the tournament were to start today, Creme would have the Cats playing No. 13 seed Arkansas Little Rock in Tempe, Ariz.
