The Southeastern Conference sent us a pretty detailed breakdown of how the men’s SEC Tournament could shake out over the next few days. I thought I’d post it on here to give you a complete preview at how the tournament could look next week and what the final weekend of the regular season still holds. Best of luck wrapping your head around every scenario.From a Kentucky perspective, what you need to know is UK can still be seeded second, third or fourth. If UK loses, the second seed is out of the picture.
Eastern DivisionFlorida (12-3) has secured the No. 1 seed and South Carolina (5-10) will be the No. 6 seed
– Florida is currently 12-3 with one game remaining- Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt are currently 9-6 in league play with one game remaining- Tennessee is 8-7 in league play with one game remaining- South Carolina is currently 5-10 with one game remaining
If Tennessee wins, Kentucky loses, Vanderbilt loses, Georgia loses, Tennessee would be the No. 2 seed, Kentucky No. 3, Vanderbilt No. 4, Georgia No. 5
