Softball: Kentucky suffered its first sweep at the hands of a Southeastern Conference opponent last weekend, but the Cats didn’t fall very far in the polls because of the team they played. A few days after losing three straight to then-No. 2 Georgia, UK remained at No. 18 in the in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25. The Cats dropped a couple of spots in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll to No. 20.

Men’s tennis: Despite a pair of wins last week, Kentucky slid back one spot as a team to No. 13 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. Junior Eric Quigley remains one of the top players in the country, checking in at No. 3 in this week’s singles rankings. Three other Wildcats are in the top 125, starting with Alex Musialek at No. 56, Alberto Gonzalez at No. 88 and Anthony Rossi at No. 117. Quigley and Brad Cox are ranked the No. 32 in the doubles rankings while Gonzalez and Tom Jomby check in at No. 84.
