For the third straight year the Kentucky women’s softball team will open play in the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

UK, the No. 6 seed, will play third-seeded Tennessee on Thursday at noon ET in Oxford, Miss. Should the Cats win, they would play the winner of the Florida-Auburn matchup on Friday at 3 p.m.

Kentucky took two of three games from Tennessee to open SEC play this year.
