Every Tuesday, UK Athletics recognizes outstanding performances for our student-athletes. These are the honorees for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 6:Men’s basketball: Willie Cauley-SteinFreshman Willie Cauley-Stein made the most of his second career start en route to leading UK to a domination final non-conference action of the season. Cauley-Stein logged his second career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. He is the first UK player to tally multiple double-doubles this season. He was efficient from the field with a 5-for-6 day while also contributing defensively with a pair of blocks and two steals. Men’s basketball: Ryan HarrowSophomore Ryan Harrow scored in double-figures for the fourth-consecutive game and added a career-best performance from behind the 3-point arc in a dominating win over Eastern Michigan. His four 3-pointers against the Eagles topped his previous career high of one. He also dished out a season-high eight assists and swiped a career-best four steals to turn in an all-around impressive individual performance in UK’s final non-conference action of the season. Harrow has passed out 29 assists to just seven turnovers in the last six games for a remarkable average of 4-to-1 assist to turnover ratio.Women’s basketball: A’dia Mathies

• Senior guard A’dia Mathies led UK to wins over Florida (76-69) and Alabama (87-70), helping the Wildcats begin SEC play 2-0 for the second straight season, tie the school record for consecutive home wins at 30 and stretch UK’s overall winning streak to a school-record 13 wins.
• On the week, averaged a team-high 18.5 points, hit a team-high .538 percent from the 3-point line (7-of-13) and 100 percent from the charity stripe (4-for-4), grabbed 4.5 rebounds per game and totaled five assists and two steals.
• In a tough battle against Florida at home, she hit 7-of-16 from the field, 2-of-5 from beyond the arc and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe for a season-high 20 points. It marked her 20th career game with 20 or more points.
• With seven made field goals she climbed to No. 7 on UK’s all-time field goals made list with 574, passing Belitta Croley (569, 1984-88) and Jodie Whitaker (571, 1985-89).
• Dished out a team-high tying four assists vs. the Gators, while also stepping up to take a team-high four charges.
• On the road at Alabama, she scored all 17 of her points in just 16 minutes of the decisive second half after going scoreless and playing just seven minutes in the opening stanza due to two fouls.
• With the game still in question and the Wildcats leading by only seven (53-46) with 10:46 to go, Mathies hit one of her five 3-pointers to push UK’s lead back to double digits. Alabama would get no closer than nine points the rest of the way.
• Tied a career high with five 3-pointers, becoming the first Wildcat to hit five or more 3-pointers in a game since Keyla Snowden hit five vs. Gonzaga on March 25, 2012.
• Became the first Wildcat to hit the 200-point mark this season.
• Has reached double figures in 13 of 15 games this season, including six in a row.
• Ranks in the top 10 on 11 UK career lists, including No. 4 in scoring (1,645) and steals (276).
• Leads the team in scoring (14.0 ppg), 3-pointers made (29) and assists per game (2.3) this season.
