- Kentucky ends the regular season 32-24 overall, 15-15 in the Southeastern Conference. Missouri is 26-29 overall, 9-21 in the SEC

- UK had clutch hitting and pitching today with runners on base.
* UK had seven hits in 16 at-bats today with runners on base.
* In addition, the Wildcats had productive outs as seven of UK’s outs either scored or advanced runners already on base.
* UK produced only one 1-2-3 inning defensively but limited Missouri to one hit in 16 at-bats with runners on base.

Game Notes
- Senior right-hander Kyle Cody threw the first complete game of his career, going nine innings, allowing one earned run on eight hits.
* Cody tied a career high with nine strikeouts with only walk. The previous time he struck out nine was Feb. 28, 2015 vs. Nebraska-Omaha.
* Cody allowed only one hit in 16 at-bats with runners on base.
* Cody has allowed three or fewer earned runs in nine consecutive starts.
* The win improved Cody’s record to 6-2 for the season.
* Cody now has 17 wins as a Wildcat, tied for 12th on the UK career list.
* Cody’s career winning percentage of .654 is currently tied for eighth in UK history.
* Cody has started 42 games in his career, tied for eighth in UK history.
* Cody has 205 strikeouts in his career, 11th in UK history.
- Kentucky played small ball in the third inning, scoring three runs on four infield hits. Troy Squires and Evan White led off with bunt singles. Zach Reks sacrificed them into scoring position. JaVon Shelby had an infield single to shortstop, scoring Squires, and advancing to second on a wild throw. Dorian Hairston had an infield single to shortstop, scoring White and moving Shelby to third. Zach Arnold’s sacrifice fly plated Shelby.
- Sophomore first baseman Evan White went 3-for-4, scored once and had three TBI.
* White’s single in the first inning extended his current hitting streak to 15 games. It is his second double-digit hit streak of the season as he had a 21-game string from March 4 to April 3.
* He also singled in the third inning, his team-leading 24th multiple-hit game of the season.
* White doubled in the eighth, his eighth game this season with three or more hits.
* White drove in three runs and now leads the team in RBI with 39.
- Senior outfielder Dorian Hairston singled in the third and fifth innings, his sixth multi-hit game of the season
- Sophomore shortstop Riley Mahan doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth, his 18th multi-hit game of the season.
* Mahan has a hit in six straight games, a season-long hit streak for him
- Sophomore catcher Troy Squires singled in the third and sixth innings, his third multi-hit game of the season.
- Junior second baseman Connor Heady doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth, his second multi-hit game of the season. He also sparkled in the field with several fine defensive plays.
- Although junior left fielder Zach Reks saw a 10-game hitting streak end today, he contributed to the offense by reaching base three times (two walks and a hit by pitch) and executing a sacrifice bunt that helped score two runs.
