Missouri at Kentucky
May 21, 2016
Cliff Hagan Stadium, Lexington, Ky.

FINAL SCORE: Kentucky 7, Missouri 2

Team Records and Series Notes

  • Kentucky ends the regular season 32-24 overall, 15-15 in the Southeastern Conference. Missouri is 26-29 overall, 9-21 in the SEC
  • UK head coach Gary Henderson is 258-198 in his eighth season
  • Kentucky leads the series, 7-6
  • Next for Kentucky: UK plays Alabama in the first round of the SEC Tournament on Tuesday, May 24 at 5:30 p.m. ET
  • UK will be the No. 8 or No. 9 seed in the SEC Tournament. Alabama will be the No. 8 or 9 seed, depending on the outcome of the Tide’s game in progress as this was written. Because the Nos. 8 and 9 seeds play each other in the first round, UK and Alabama will play each other; the only question as this point is which team will be which seed
  • The game will be televised on the SEC Network and also be available on the UK Sports Radio Network
  • The first round of the SEC Tournament is single elimination. Kentucky must win on Tuesday to advance to the double-elimination round that begins Wednesday.
