LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Wildcats swimming and diving program’s season is in full swing, beginning the season with their second dual meet in just two days down in Baton Rouge, La. against the LSU Tigers on Friday at 12 p.m. ET.  The No. 21 Kentucky men’s team will go against the No. 14 LSU men, while the Tiger women rank No. 21.

Kentucky is coming off a dual meet against Indiana on Wednesday, who is ranked in the top 10. There were a handful of strong event wins including those of seniors Grace Frericks, Levi Sandidge, and Ryan Merani, junior Carson Hick, sophomores Billie Sherratt and Olivia Stewart, and freshmen Sarah Anne Shaffer and Falemana Tuufui.

Although a tough loss to Indiana, the Wildcats now look toward traveling to SEC opponent, LSU, who is ranked in the top 25 in both men’s and women’s October CSCAA polls. LSU is coming off a win in a quad meet, defeating Air Force, Denver, and Wyoming at Cadet Natatorium.

Once again, the meet will begin at 12 p.m. ET, 11 a.m. CT, with doors opening for fans an hour prior. Live results of Friday’s dual meet at LSU can be found on the Meet Mobile App and fans can watch on the LSU YouTube channel here.
