Defense Turns in Another Impressive Outing: The Wildcat defensive unit turned in another strong performance during a two-hour practice Wednesday afternoon at the Nutter Training Center. During the non-tackling scrimmage that completed practice, the defense looked good in harassing the quarterback and defending receivers.
“The defense is continuing to come along,” Coach Hal Mumme said following the workout. “They are really trying to play with the attitude of ‘attack’ that we’re teaching. The offense has to cut down on its mistakes, especially the dropped balls on passes.”
This Week’s Remaining Practice Schedule: Practices are open to the media and public.
