LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky men’s golf team will compete in its finaltournament of the season May 8-9, when the Cats travel north to Ann Arbor,Mich., to play in the Wolverine Invitational.

UK is coming off a 13th-place finish at the Cobra Collegiate in Kent,Ohio, April 24-25, and will look to move up the leader board this weekendin the 18-team event. The Cats will face competition from Akron, BallState, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville,Marshall, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, NotreDame, Toledo, Wisconsin and Xavier.

The par-71, 6,687-yard University of Michigan Golf Course will host the54-hole event, with 36 holes to be played Saturday and the final 18 on Sunday.

The tournament tees off Saturday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
