MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – A day after winning All-America honors in the 100 butterfly, University of Kentucky swimmer Rachel Komisarz picked up an honorable mention award in the 200 butterfly at the 1998 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.

Komisarz, a junior from Warren, Mich., finished 12th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:00.22 to claim honorable mention All-America status in her third different event. In addition to her All-American plaudits in the 100 and 200 butterflies, Komisarz was an honorable mention All-American in the 1650 freestyle as a freshman.

Freshman Melissa Olson just missed her second All-America award, finishing 19th in the prelims of the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:00.19.
