GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team fell, 9-0, to No. 1 Florida on Wednesday, March 17. The 18th-ranked Cats (8-4, 3-3 SEC) came up short in their bid to break Florida’s 52-match home win streak. Florida (15-0, 5-0 SEC) has never lost an SEC match at home and has not lost any home match in five years. The Cats schedule does not get any easier this weekend, as their southern swing takes them to Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Match 20, to face No. 3 Georgia at noon.
