LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Wildcats (12-10, 4-11 SEC) will take a break from conferenceaction to play host to interstate rival Louisville Cardinals onTuesday, April 12, and the Belmont Bruins on Wednesday, April 13.Both games are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Tuesday’s matchup between Kentucky and Louisville will be the 76th meetingbetween the two schools. UK leads the series 49-27. Kentucky coach KeithMadison holds a lifetime 28-10 record against Louisville. The Cardinalsbeat the Wildcats in last year’s meeting, 10-5.

The Belmont Bruins will travel to Lexington on Wednesday for only thesecond meeting between the two schools. Kentucky won in last years’meeting, 10-9.

Kentucky was swept in conference action last weekend at Arkansas as theRazorbacks won their tenth consecutive conference game and swept theirthird consecutive conference opponent. Sophomore Robert Newton extended hishitting streak to eight games on the road trip and John Wilson belted his16th home run of the season on Saturday. Wilson has hit eleven home runs inthe last 14 games and is leading the SEC in home runs.
