LAKELAND, Fla.-The University of Kentucky men’s golf team finished 14th in the Charley Matlock Classic completed Sunday. The Wildcat golfers entered Sunday’s competition in 10th-place, but fell after combining to shoot a final round total of 308. The Cats posted a three-round total of 895. The University of North Florida claimed team honors with a tournament total of 860.
Senior Ryan Loghry led the Cats with a 72-74-75-221. Loghry finished in a tie for 35th. Felipe Aguilar of North Florida took medalist honors after posting a 69-68-70-207.
UK won’t see action again until April 4 -5, when they host the Johnny Owens Invitational.
