KENT, Ohio – The University of Kentucky men’s golf team finished 13th atthe Cobra Collegiate Golf Tournament at Windmill Lakes Golf Course thisweekend, April 24-25.

UK shot a three-round team total of 885, finishing 33 strokes behind teamchampion Purdue at 852.

John Beckett led the Cats, firing a 73-73-74-220 to finish in a tie for42nd. Other UK scores included Jeremy Langley’s 221, Jay Knight’s 222,Ryan Rieckhoff’s 224, and Ron Layman’s 231.

Jaime Broce of Ball State fired a final round 71 to finish at 4-under 206to claim medallist honors.

UK returns to the links in two weeks, when the Cats travel to Ann Arbor,Mich., for the Wolverine Invitational, May 8-9.
