LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky men’s golfer Jeremy Langley has been named to theAll-Southeastern Conference golf team, SEC Commissioner Roy Kramerannounced Monday.
Langley, a senior from Lexington, was a second-team honoree and is UK’sfirst All-SEC selection since 1989, when Olen Grant made the list.
Langley led the UK squad this season with a 73.7 stroke average and sixtop-10 finishes in 11 tournaments. His best finish came in September, whenhe claimed medallist honors at the Jack Moyers Cup in Iowa City.
“I’m really happy for Jeremy,” UK coach Steve Smitha said. “He has been areal leader for our team and is very deserving of this award.”
