LEXINGTON, Kty. — The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team will participate in the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu on Nov. 24-Dec. 1, UK Coach Bernadette Mattox announced today.

Seven teams will join Kentucky in the three-day tournament, including host Hawaii, Louisville, St. John’s, UCLA, Nebraska, North Carolina and Illinois State. Pairing will be announced later in the summer.

“There are some very good teams competing in this tournament which should help prepare us for our tough conference schedule,” Mattox said. “We are excited about going to Hawaii to represent the Southeastern Conference.”
