The University of Kentucky gymnastics team returns home on Friday, Feb. 12at 7:30 p.m. to face the Michigan Wolverines in Memorial Coliseum.

The GymKats (4-3,0-2 SEC) are coming off of a second-place finish at theGoverner’s Cup in Charleston, W.Va. on Feb. 6. The Kats finished with ascore of 192.575 to West Virginia’s 195.000. Ohio State and Rutgersfinished third and fourth, respectively.

Freshman Jessie Lemp is expected to make her return for the home crowdafter sitting out during the George Washington/NC State meet due to anankle injury.

“We are really excited to be home this weekend,” Coach Leah Little said.”We look for the gymnasts’ scores to improve as they perform for our homecrowd. I feel like we are on target as far as our goals for the season areconcerned. We look forward to good competition to prepare us for our longroad swing next month.”
