LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky will play host to the 14th annual Johnny Owens Invitational this weekend, April 2-3, at Kearney Hills Golf Links.

The 18-team event will feature golfers from Ball State, Eastern Michigan,Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Miami ofOhio, Morehead State, Murray State, Notre Dame, Ohio, Vanderbilt, WesternKentucky, Wright State, Xavier and Youngstown.

Host Kentucky will look to claim its fourth Invitational title and firstsince 1989. Toledo claimed the 1997 and 1998 crowns.

The 54-hole event will begin with 36 holes on Friday, and conclude withthe final 18 on Saturday.

Admission is free.
