The Lady Kat golfers finished their fall season with an 8th place finish at the Memphis Womens Intercollegiate Championship. Freshman Towa Okiyama led the UK team with a 12th place finish after shooting a 2-over-par 74 on the final day of competition.

The UK golfers ended the tournament with a three-round team total of 930. Sophomore Jenny Throgmorton also finished in the Top 20 with a 4-over-par 76 on the final day, bringing her three-round total to 231. Other Lady Kat third-round scores include Jenny Dugans 76, Chanda Days 76 and Kristen Pepes 84.

The overall team champion was Alabama which had a 904 team score. The overall tournament champion was Natalie Tucker from Memphis. She shot a par-72 on the final day to bring her three-round total to 219.
