LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky volleyball team will try to end South Carolina’s two-match winning streak when they take on the Lady Gamecocks Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky (12-6, 3-2 SEC) hopes to rebound after falling to No. 9 Florida last weekend in Gainesville. The Wildcats are led by junior outside hitter Katie Eiserman with 237 kills and a 3.82 hitting percentage. This marks the 17th meeting between UK and Georgia with the Wildcats holding a 10-6 series edge.
“South Carolina is having a great year,” UK coach Jona Braden said. “They’re a solid team with NCAA experience. This will be a great opportunity for us to step on the floor and play a team of their caliber and see how we match up.”
Admission to UK matches is $5 for adults and $2 for children. UK students with valid identification receive free admission to all matches.
