LEXINGTON, Kty. – The University of Kentucky men?s golf team will be competing in the PersimmonRide Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 18-19, at the Persimmon RidgeGolf Club in Louisville. The Cats are coming off their best showing of the fallseason as they finished fourth at the Xavier Invitational on Oct. 11-12 with aseason-best score of 875.

The Persimmon Ridge Invitational features a field of 18 teams, includingKentucky and the 1998 team champion Illinois. Players will tee off each morningat 9 a.m. CT.
