LEXINGTON, Kty. – Five members of the University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will becompeting in the Georgia Invitational this weekend, Jan. 21-24, in Athens,Ga. Tournament play begins Friday on the UGA campus. Leigh Bradwell, JillBuckley, Lauren Rookledge, Brooke Skeen, and Amy Trefethen will becompeting for the Cats.

Many of the Southeast’s best teams will be competing with forty-eightplayers in the singles bracket and 16 doubles teams.

“We are very excited to get back into action after the break,” UK coachMark Guilbeau said. “The girls came back from the break playing greattennis and are really swinging the rackets well. We are excited to watchthem compete against some of the South’s top players this weekend.”
