LEXINGTON, Kty. – All five of Kentucky?s remaining singles entries lost in second round action onSaturday at the SEC Indoor Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Wildcats,along with Tennessee, placed a tournament-high five singles players into thesecond round.

There was good news on the doubles side though as the team of Reven Stephensand Edo Bawono earned a second round match with an 8-4 win over Chris McRae andSusheel Narla of host Alabama. The duo will play Sunday morning against anopponent to be determined.

?We changed our doubles groups around today and got some good results,? UKCoach Dennis Emery said. ?They should do well the rest of the tournament.?

In second round singles action, UK?s Johan Hesoun fell to AndersStenmanof Ole Miss after taking the first set. Hesoun, ranked 48th in the nation, tookthe first set 6-3, but wore down in the next two, losing 6-2, 6-3. GustavPousette also suffered a loss to a Rebel, falling to the No. 99 player in thecountry, Kristofer Stahlberg, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2. Sophomore Johan Grunditz alsoplayed well, but lost to 29th-ranked Matias Boeker of Georgia in straight sets.

?Our top three guys played well today, but just did not play wellenoughto win,? Emery said.

Also losing for the Cats on Saturday were freshmen Jorge MarioEscallon,who earned his first UK victory in Friday?s first round, and DaliborMihajlovic.
