LEXINGTON, Kty. – Five University of Kentucky gymnasts were named to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll for the academic year, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday. Mila Chitwood, Krissy Hoeferlin, Natalie Hunt, Jessie Lemp and Katie Toups were each recognized for their academic accomplishments.

This marks the third straight year that seniors Chitwood and Hoeferlin have been honored and the first year of eligibility for sophomore Hunt, a transfer from Oklahoma, and freshmen Lemp and Toups.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must either have a 3.0 GPA for the past year or a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be a sophomore or higher and have completed at least 24 semester hours toward a degree.
