ROGERS, Ark. — The Lady Kat golf team fell to eighth place after two rounds of the Southeastern Conference Women’s Golf Championships on Saturday. Freshman Marie Allen remains in the lead of the Lady Kats, however, Allen fell from sixth place to 12th, shooting a 79 in the second round (76-79).

In other Lady Kat action, freshman Rachel Lester moved up to 31st place after shooting a 79 on the second day. Sophomore Kristen Pepe also moved up in the standings from 48th to 45th. Pepe also shot a 79 in the second round.

Sophomore Towa Okiyama is currently in 33rd place and senior Jenny Dugan is in 45th. Okiyama shot an 83 on the second day, while Dugan shot an 86.

The final day of the tournament will begin 8:45 a.m. with a shotgun start.
