Kentucky STUNT Hosts Midwest Classic This Weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team returns to action this weekend, hosting the Midwest Classic inside Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Five teams will participate in this weekend’s event, which begins on Friday at 2 p.m. Kentucky will play Purdue Northwest on Friday at 5 p.m. After Senior Day ceremonies, the Cats will battle Michigan State at 8:15 p.m.

On Saturday, action begins at 10 a.m. The Cats will play the final game of the event, facing Missouri Valley at 2:30 p.m.

Kentucky is 6-0 on the season, the best start in school history. The six-game winning streak is tied for the longest in the program’s four-year existence.

Admission is free and fans should enter through the Lexington Avenue entrance to Historic Memorial Coliseum. Parking is available in the Joe Craft Center lot.

STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States.
