Freshman scores game-winner at the 91:52 mark.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 25, 1998) — Freshman Suzie Ledzianowski scored a goal in thesecond minute of overtime to give the Kentucky Wildcats a 1-0 victory overSoutheastern Conference rival South Carolina on Friday night at the UKSoccer Complex.

The game was scoreless at the end of regulation. But at the 91:52 mark inovertime, Ledzianowski put in a shot from the top of the box off an assistfrom Jen Reese.

The Cats (3-2-2, 2-1 SEC) outshot USC 19 to four. The loss is only thesecond of the season for the Gamecocks (4-2-1, 1-2-0 SEC). Kentuckycloses out this crucial SEC weekend when it hosts the fifth-ranked FloridaGators on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. The game is the first of a doubleheader withthe UK men facing Vanderbilt at 3 p.m. Sunday is Family Day at the UKSoccer Complex. Any family of four or more can attend both matches foronly $10.
