(July 25, 2000) — The University of Kentucky track and field/cross country teams signed 21 more athletes for the 2000-01 seasons, head coach Don Weber announced Tuesday, July 25.
The group of talented newcomers joins James Doaty of Louisville, Ky., whosigned earlier this summer. The class boasts two national high schoolchampions, one junior college national champion, 21 state champions, twostate record holders and 37 school record holders. These athletes hail from12 different states, including five from Kentucky.
