Kentucky STUNT Hosts Bluegrass Classic This Weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team begins its regular season this weekend, hosting the Bluegrass Classic at Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Seven teams will participate in this weekend’s event, which begins on Saturday at 9 a.m. Kentucky will play the final two games of the Saturday session, facing Trevecca Nazarene at 4:05 p.m. and UT Martin at 5:30 p.m.

On Sunday, action begins at 10 a.m. The Cats will again play the final two games of the day. Kentucky faces Mercyhurst at 3 p.m. and Northern Kentucky at 4 p.m.

Admission is free and fans should enter through the Lexington Avenue entrance to Historic Memorial Coliseum. Parking is available in the Joe Craft Center lot.

STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States.
