(Sept. 19, 2000) — The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team is ranked 12th by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the second week in a row. The ranking is the highest ever for the Wildcats.
Kentucky (7-1, 1-0 SEC) moved up in the Soccer Buzz polls as well and now ranks 13th nationally, second in the region.
This marks the 12th week in a row that Kentucky has been ranked in the Top 25. Kentucky remains on top of the SEC’s Eastern Division.
