Game to be concluded Sunday

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Kentucky baseball team’s season openeragainst Furman University was suspended at the end of 10 innings with thescore tied 3-3, due to darkness Friday evening. The game will be concludedat 12 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. Immediately following the conclusion of thesuspended game, Kentucky and Furman will play their regularly scheduledgame for Sunday (originally intended to start at 12 p.m.).

UK (0-0) is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m., when theytravel to Spartanburg, S.C., to face off against Wofford College. Wofford(0-2) is in action tonight against High Point. The Terriers were beatentwice by South Carolina last weekend.

Rob Corrado is scheduled to start for UK on Saturday. Corrado posted arecord of 5-3 with a 5.58 ERA last season as a freshman. A complete releaseconcerning UK’s season opener will be issued following the conclusion ofthe game on Sunday.
