Matthew Mitchell, WBB to Host Winning Tools Education Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Matthew Mitchell and the University of Kentucky women’s basketball team will hold its annual Winning Tools Education Day on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. ET inside Memorial Coliseum as the Wildcats host New Hampshire.
All local primary and secondary schools, including elementary, middle and high schools, are encouraged to take advantage of free tickets to the game. Groups should RSVP online HERE by Thursday, Nov. 10. Space is limited and schools are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to ensure tickets.  High school groups should email kate.stoess@uky.edu for additional information.
The Winning Tools Education Day is based on Mitchell’s Winning Tools of honesty, hard work and discipline, which he has used to successfully build the Kentucky women’s basketball program. With the Winning Tools at the center of program, Mitchell is the winningest head coach in program history, guiding Kentucky to a school-record seven straight NCAA Tournament appearances. The Wildcats have advanced to five Sweet 16s the last seven seasons and are one of seven schools nationally to claim that honor.
