The University of Kentucky women’s golf team dropped two spots at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6, to fall to seventh place. Duke continues to lead the tournament with its team score of 598.

Juniors Rachel Lester and Kelly Anders have recorded an impressive showing for the Lady Kats. The tandem is tied for 13th place after two rounds of action and sits only five strokes back of leader Nicki Cutler with one round of play remaining.

The final round is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Sunday, Oct. 7.
