Kentucky takes on Kent State on Wed. Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. in the Firstar Center in Cincinnati, televised lived on the UKTV Network. Morehead plays host to Virginia Military on Wed. Nov. 28 at 7 p.m.

Kentucky now leads the Morehead series 7-0.

UK shoots 50.7 percent from the field, the first time this season that the Wildcats top 50 percent.

UK piled up 25 assists, the most since notching 26 at Tennessee on Feb. 14, 2001.

Key runs: trailing 36-34, Kentucky closes the first half with a 13-4 run to take a 47-40 lead into intermission. The Wildcats opened the second half with a 15-2 run for a 62-42 lead and were not closely threatened thereafter.

For the second consecutive game, Kentucky has a pair of 20-point scorers. Tayshaun Prince scored 23 tonight and Keith Bogans tallied 20. Against Marshall on Nov. 16, Bogans and Marquis Estill reached the 20-point mark.

Bogans tied his career high for assists with six.

Prince advanced from 29th to 26th on the UK career scoring list and now has 1,259 points in his career. Bogans moved from 46th to 45th on the UK career scoring list and now has 1,038 points.

Good floor game by freshman forward Chuck Hayes, who totals eight points, six rebounds, five assists, one block, and one steal in 18 minutes.
