LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior Aaron Kirkpatrick and junior Clayton Moss finished in the top two spots on the men’s one-meter during the first day of the Kentucky Diving Invitational held at UK’s Lancaster Aquatic Center on Friday.

Kirkpatrick placed first with a score of 345.50, easily winning the event over Moss who scored a 323.90 to place second. Brandon Hulko of South Carolina placed third (300.15). Freshman John Collier of UK also competed, placing ninth (245.85).

On the women’s three-meter, freshman Trisha Tumlinson scored a 437.26 to place third while junior Kelli Frost scored a 405.60 to place sixth. Freshmen Alison Riccobono (355.05) placed 14th. South Carolina’s Lauren King won the event with a score of 459.35 while her teammate Holly Hodges (452.80) placed second.

The Kentucky Diving Invitational will continue Saturday, starting at 9 a.m.
